It was always going to be a challenge trying to capture a unique shot of one of Australia’s most iconic landmarks - there are legal restrictions around access to this sacred Aboriginal site and hoards of tourists crowding the limited vantage points. So, it was Mother Nature that was going to have to create the stage show for me. It’s the dark clouds and shadowed foreground that hero Uluru. Those last few seconds of sunlight - like a spotlight from the wings - set her all a magical glow before her final curtain call.
