I’ve returned to this location many times. One of the things that fascinates me about the rainforest is the vibrant green of the undergrowth. Despite it being a blue sky day, the sunlight doesn’t penetrate the thick tree-top canopy, making the undergrowth appear more vivid and alive in the flat light. It’s one of the few occasions that makes shooting at midday acceptable for a landscape photographer.
