SANTA MARIA DE PALMA

It was hard to find the right angle to capture the masterpiece of gothic architecture that is the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Palma - I shot her multiple times from different locations to find somewhere that would showcase her grandeur and reverence. You can just catch a glimpse of it here from the grass garden - the soft frame created by the whispy tall grasses and pink fluffy clouds created the perfect contrast to highlight her detailed lines and sharp edges. And the suns last rays lit up the tip of her spiers - the highest of all gothic cathedrals in the world - like an altar candle.
