TRANQUILITY

After scouting this location, my plan was to take a sunrise shot looking down the banks of the beautiful Mann River, but as I headed out in darkness the next morning, a thick and heavy fog had crept in to the valley overnight. Now, I had no idea where I was going. I could barely see my feet, let alone the few rocks that would step me out in to the middle of the river for my chosen frame. The air hung eerily still and quiet. My camera's shutter was the only sound that broke the tranquility of the misty river that morning. Whenever I look at this image I’m immediately back there on that rock, shrouded in stillness.
